Day Course on Ramayan in Human Physiology

More than ten years in the making, the Ramayan in Human Physiology is the perfect sequel to Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam’s (Professor Tony Nader, MD, Ph.D) first ground breaking work on the correspondence of the Vedic Literature and human physiology.

With his intellect finely honed by doctoral and post-doctoral research in neuroscience at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School, and his intuition and feeling deeply cultivated by years of personal training with renowned Vedic scientist and sage, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Dr. Nader beautifully integrates cutting-edge science with the ancient wisdom of the Vedas.

His book takes one of the most purely subjective and spiritual records of knowledge, the Ramayan, and compares it to one of the most objectively-studied and scientifically-described aspects of life: human physiology.

Building A House In Tune With Natural Law

Our house is part of our extended body.  To look after our body better, architecture should encourage ecological building practices.  But it is not just building materials that affect our health!

Vedic Architecture is an ancient and eternal knowledge of building in accordance with the organization of the universe.  It was part of the ancient oral tradition of India and was eventually written down in Sanskrit around 2500 BC.  Vedic architecture is exemplified in one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal.  Traces of it are found in other buildings such as the Palace of Versailles, St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, the Pyramids etc.  It is a universal knowledge which has been forgotten.  In recent decades Maharishi Mahesh Yogi the founder of Transcendental Meditation™ has assembled all the original texts, and restored the full body of knowledge.

Maharishi Vedic architecture is not a style but a set of deep principles applied to houses of any style.  When you travel on a train, if you sit in direction of travel or not, will have a different effect on you.  As we live in our houses, it is as if we are sitting on the train of Mother Earth, as it rotates around its’ axis.  We travel best if we align ourselves with the rules that maintain the Earth.

Thank You For Sponsoring Me To Learn TM

I am writing to say thank you for the sponsorship towards my fees for the TM course. I feel very glad and grateful that I have had an opportunity to learn and practice TM.  Since I have been practising TM I feel much more centred within myself and that in turn helps my life to flow in the direction that is good for me and people around me. For example, shortly after I had learnt TM, an opportunity came to apply for a teaching job and continue my teacher training in Latvia. I went through an application process and got selected for the job and training. I will start the training this summer and will begin my employment as an English teacher this Autumn. I am looking forward to starting my new job and I feel full of joy and enthusiasm to pass on knowledge and love to pupils whom I will be teaching.

The first step in taking a course in TM is to come along to one our introductory talks.  These are free briefing sessions.  We hold them routinely on Wednesdays at 2.30pm and 7pm but booking is essential.   While these sessions are a prerequisite to enrolling on a course there is no obligation to learn.   Please feel free to invite friends.

Transcendental Meditation at the West End Festival

Meditation Creativity and Peace Documentary

Iconic filmmaker David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire) is featured in a unique film entitled “Meditation Creativity Peace: Documentary of a 16-Country Tour,” which chronicles his travels throughout the world in 2007. During this tour he spoke to tens of thousands of college students about his practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique, his creative and artistic processes, and the ultimate goal of the David Lynch Foundation: to create peace in the world through meditation.  Time for brief discussion with TM teacher Angela Landers following the documentary.
